Lemon Bag

Last fall, I received this super cute crocheted bag from my friend, Maiko (@rutovihhie3). Isn't it lovely? She's a very talented lady and makes all kids of pretty crocheted things.

She made the crocheted bag and all the lemons on it. She told me to add a lining of my choice, if I like.

I've been searching for a perfect fabric to pair with this special bag. This spring, I finally found the right gingham to make the lining. I'm very happy with how it turned out!

Last year, Kate Spade made a really adorable lemon print collection. I was kind of sad that I ended up not getting anything from that collection, so I was super excited to receive this handmade bag!

I think that the combination of the lemons and blue gingham looks so summery. I went with a drawstring type of an interior—as this bag has a rounded shape.
